Profile : Saori Hala
Choreographer, artist, dancer.
Based in multiple cities such as Berlin, Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kobe, she creates performance-type works with the theme of "body belonging". Her creative style of choreographing various media such as objects, light, sound, and text along with her own body has attracted attention, and she won the 9th El Sur Foundation Newcomer Award in the contemporary dance category.
She works while actively participating in cultural scenes such as music and fashion.
Her previous collaborators include Yoshio Otani, Fuyuki Yamakawa, Tomomi Oda, Manami Kakudo, Shuta Hasunuma, U-zhaan, NIKE, and BLESS. Completed the Design Department at Tokyo University of the Arts and the Dance Department at Berlin University of the Arts.
